
Steve Ciesinski
Steve Ciesinski is currently the Chairman and CEO of Laszlo Systems.
He has extensive management experience in both publicly and privately
held high-technology companies covering a wide spectrum of market
categories. Prior to Laszlo, Steve served as CEO of Resumix, Inc.,
where he led the merger with HotJobs.com (now Yahoo! HotJobs). Before
that he held executive positions at Octel Communications, Applied
Materials and Proctor & Gamble. Steve serves on a number of public
and private boards, is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Union
College, and a member of the President's Cabinet of the California
Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He holds a B.S. degree in
Electrical Engineering and an A.B. in Modern Languages from Union
College, and an MBA from Stanford University.
Andrei Manoliu, Ph.D.
Andrei Manoliu is a retired partner of Cooley Godward where he worked in
the business and securities department. He has considerable expertise in
the formation and financing of emerging growth and public electronics and
software companies as well as in the structuring of complex licensing
deals, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial and strategic
arrangements, within the United States and internationally. Dr. Manoliu
received his degree in law from Stanford Law School in 1982. At Stanford,
he was elected to the Order of the Coif. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he
was awarded a Ph.D. in solid state physics from the University of
California, Berkeley, in 1979. Previously, Dr. Manoliu attended the
University of Bucharest, Romania, majoring in physics. He is a member of
the American Bar Association and the American Physical Society.
Beth Martinelli
Beth Martinelli brings over 20 years of experience in both consumer and
high tech marketing including positions with Anheuser-Busch, Inc., Intel
Corporation and Baan, Inc. Beth is currently President of Twin Spires
Consulting where she helps enterprise application start-up companies with
go-to-market strategy and execution. Beth was formerly a VP Marketing with
Resumix and VP Corporate Marketing for Baan, Inc. Beth holds a BA in
Finance from Saint Mary's College (Notre Dame, IN) and an MBA from UC
Davis Graduate School of Management.
Julie O’Connor
Julie O’Connor is currently the CFO of Reasoning, Inc. She has 20 years’
experience as a senior financial professional, including experience in
venture financing, acquisitions and IPOs. Julie was most recently CFO for
Aurigin Systems. Prior to Aurigin, she was with Docent, Inc. and Reply
Corporation. Julie received a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Smith
College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
